Bill Cafaro

Bill Cafaro, in addition to being admitted in New York, is also admitted in California, Texas, and Maryland. He is on the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers, and a member of the Labor Law Committee. He is also a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. He received his B.S. degree in accounting from Fordham University and graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1979. After doing criminal defense work in California, he was an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County from 1981 through 1986, serving primarily in the Narcotics Bureau. In 1986, he started his own practice in Jackson Heights, Queens. He has been in private practice doing plaintiff's negligence work since 1986. He is also fluent in Spanish.
